At Post-Moderne, it’s not a secret, we love the woods, nature and tranquility. Our office in the Mile End is very nice, but sometimes all we want is to escape the chaos of the city…

Thankfully we now have our own oasis in the wild! A brand new editing facility in Jay, N.Y. (only 1h30 drive from Montreal). You can now let your creative spirit soar and enjoy the peace and quiet of the Adirondack mountains.

The Post-Moderne Chalet has all the charm of the 70s. Its modern wooden architecture inspires relaxation and comfort. As soon as you step in, it’ll feel just like home.

An editing suite operating both Avid and Final Cut is installed on the top floor, facing a large window overlooking the natural surroundings. Be inspired by the coming and going of birds, deer and dancing leaves. In winter, watch the snow fall between two rough cuts.

It can comfortably accommodate 8 to 18 people. A bachelor on the ground floor allows for some privacy, there’s also a full kitchen to you to cook as you want, And finally, a fireplace will bring you warmth and comfort after a hard day’s work.

Located 15 minutes away from Whiteface, hit the slopes to clear your head. Don’t want to take the car? Skiing and hiking trails are available all around the chalet. In summer, enjoy the Eaton Lake to refresh you, or play baseball, volleyball, basketball or tennis on the Ausable Acres domain. Hit Lake Placid in less than 30 minutes if the tranquility of the cottage makes you anxious, it’s not NYC, but it’ll give you a little fix of urban life!
